On Saturday, January 13, 2018, the Howard County Branch NAACP hosted the first annual BithEnergy MLK Unity 5K run. The MLK Unity 5K run was created to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and all other civil rights leaders. About 130 people participated in this event, including Harry Holt, Vice President of Operations for Bithgroup Technologies. The race involved a 5K run & the Prism Family Fun Run/Walk, plus T-shirts, prizes and more for all ages. Proceeds from the race fund the Howard County Branch NAACP.
