BITHENERGY, Inc. of Baltimore, Maryland is listed as 8th Top Solar Developers, according to Solar Power World.

(BUSINESS WIRE) – BITHENERGY, Inc., a leading provider of innovative energy engineering solutions, has been ranked eighth out of 50 Top Solar Developers in 2014.

With an overall ranking of 49 out of the Top 400 Solar Contractors in North America, BITHENERGY was ranked eighth of the Top 50 Developers in solar, based on the company’s 13.3 megawatts installed the previous year.

Solar Power World, the industry’s primary source for technology, development and installation news, presents the 2014 Top 50 Solar Developers. Ranks are determined by the number of megawatts a company installed in 2013.  The list details the location of a company, how many people it employs, its primary market (utility, residential or commercial), as well as its primary service (EPC, developer, rooftop installation, construction, thermal systems, non-profit, off-grid projects or electrical).

Chief Executive Officer Robert L. Wallace stated, “Our ranking as a top solar developer is truly an honor for us and a tribute to our hard work in delivering quality, consistent, and cost-competitive renewable energy systems solutions. Our engineers and project managers routinely engage in very complex and difficult technical energy projects and consistently exceed the expectations of our clients.  I applaud our Renewable Energy Division, which is led by R. Daniel Wallace, for finding creative and innovative approaches to developing solar energy projects.  They have been extremely successful at developing exciting energy projects that consistently exceed the client’s expectations.”

BITHENERGY’s continuing success in the solar energy industry was recently recognized when they were chosen by the United States Department of Army to provide technical services to support a $7 billion renewable and alternative energy power production contract.  This contract will provide renewable energy engineering services for United States military installations throughout the world.
