Coretta Bennett Joins Bithenergy as Chief Operating Officer

Baltimore, Maryland – Bithenergy, Inc. is thrilled to announce the addition of Coretta Bennett as the Chief Operating Officer.  Ms. Bennett’s strong background in strategic planning, business development and finance, coupled with her extensive knowledge of project management and engineering provide a strong foundation for her to lead Bithenergy’s strategic growth.

Bithenergy has an impressive five-year growth rate of 2,973 percent.  In 2015, the company earned the Staples Business Growth Award and was recognized at the ICIC Inner City 100 Conference and Awards as the fastest-growing U.S. inner city businesses.

Ms. Bennett’s proven track record of securing multi-million dollar projects gives Bithenergy’s CEO, Robert L. Wallace, confidence that she is well equipped to oversee the day-to-day operations, strengthen B2B relationships, and implement corporate initiatives in all areas of energy production and management.

A native of Baltimore Maryland, Ms. Bennett is a graduate of Baltimore Polytechnic Institute.  She earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Morgan State University, an MBA in Strategic Business Policy and Finance from Rutgers University, and is a LEED Accredited Professional BD+C.  Ms. Bennett currently serves on the Construction Management Advisory Board at Morgan State University and is a mentor with the ACE Mentor program, in addition to being a mentor with Montgomery County Business Roundtable for Education.
