October 26, 2015- BITHGROUP Technologies and BITHENERGY joined forces to serve Baltimore City’s hungry through volunteer efforts at Catholic Charities Our Daily Bread on Monday, October 26, 2015. The staff of both companies locked arms with Our Daily Bread staff and other volunteers providing meal preparation assistance and serving lunch to about 700 guest. Our team included a company executive, managers and an administrative assistant. BITHGROUP Technologies and BITHENERGY encourages their employees to get involved in community service activities and supports a variety of community service outreach events in Baltimore City and other parts of the state annually.
Our Daily Bread is Maryland’s hot meal program, serving more than a quarter million meals to the hungry of Baltimore City each year. They serve nutritious lunches every day of the year and breakfasts to seniors and individuals with disabilities each weekday. Every plate comes with a warm welcome when volunteers serve at the Our Daily Bread hot meal program. Along with the requisite apron, a smile is always worn by the volunteers. In Second Corinthians 9:7 we are told “God loves a cheerful giver,” and undoubtedly, BITHGROUP and BITHENERGY employees are included among this selfless group.
