Bithenergy welcomed international professionals to an informative discussion about renewable energy, battery storage, and emerging technologies. The professionals in attendance were a part of WTCI’s cohort of diverse individuals from countries across South and East Asia. This meeting was intended to share strategies and tools to implement and expand renewable energy systems, manage energy, and smart grid infrastructure build-out. Guests also learned about Bithenergy’s sister company, BITHGROUP Technologies. “Because energy and technology are so closely related and driven by one another, it is important to demonstrate how the two entities leverage opportunities together,” stated Bithenergy’s COO Coretta Bennett
The guests were able to gain insight on how Bithenergy works with various Federal, State, and local governments to develop and deploy innovative renewable energy systems, manage and measure energy consumption, as well as research and explore energy systems concepts to reduce emissions and promote sustainability. The international professionals that attended were: Dr. Priyanga Dunusinghe, a Senior Lecturer for the Department of Economics at the University of Colombo, Tohir Habibov from the Department of External Economic Cooperation for the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Waqas Javaid a Trade Economist for the Regional Trade Office Ministry of Commerce Government of Pakistan, Faisal Mahmood the General Manager for AJJEE IMPEX, Ahmad Tariq Mateen the Head of Regional Trade Agreements for the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Ministry of Commerce & Industries, Mr. Farkhad Pakyrov the Executive Director for JIA located in the Capital of Kyrgyzstan, and Ms. Shayasta Tuladhar a Coordinator for the Nepal Economic Forum, accompanied by WTCI liasons.
