Bithenergy Educates Students on Renewable Energy & Conserv.

Bithenergy, Inc., a leading provider of innovative energy engineering solutions, has partnered with Prosperity Pail Ministry to educate students in local high schools to the different aspects of Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems (HRES) technology.

The Baltimore City metropolitan area has over 45,000 row homes that can benefit from renewable energy solutions. These solutions, which include solar and wind, would help low-income families save money by reducing their electricity cost. One of the best ways to increase the number of solar and wind installations is to inspire, educate and train the youth of Baltimore.

After touring BITHENERGY’s HRES house in the Cherry Hill neighborhood in Baltimore, Prosperity Pail Ministry was inspired by the belief that the HRES house could serve as an inspiration to Cherry Hill residents. The two organizations worked together to win a Baltimore City Community Energy Savers Grant. BITHENERGY and Prosparity Pail Professionals will go to high schools to give school-wide assemblies, individual science class lectures, and visits to the HRES home in Cherry Hill to teach students about ways to reduce energy consumption.

Robert L. Wallace, CEO of BITHENERGY remarked, “The education and training of high school students in renewable energy initiates is a critical step to helping the Baltimore Sustainability Plan forward.”
